“You are more than welcome, man.” Sam's wiseass grin softened into something more open (if not more honest; honestly, she was something of a wiseass, at the worst of times) and she reached out with her free hand to ruffle Will's hair once again. Her other hand rolled the skin-and-stuff into a little ball almost idly, and she pocketed it as if it were only natural, mostly because it was the least awkward thing to do. She'd healed friends a few times, now; often enough to come to that conclusion. A moment passed, and she drew a deep breath to brace herself to stand; she did so groaning, reluctant to leave the comfort of the couch behind. “I'm going to be back in a minute, but I want to say hey to your mom before I fall asleep in your living room. Point me her way?”
